Team
Introduction
Team refers to a group of multi talented individuals having expertise in different fields. These individuals work together to complete an assigned task in the most efficient way possible.
Access the Teams List View Screen
To access the Teams, in iVendNext you need to navigate to: Home > Retail. Under the Store Operations section click on the Teams shortcut. Alternatively you can navigate to Home. Click on the Awesome Bar and then type the keyword - “Team List”. The application will perform a global search and will show results from several different record types related to the keyword. Click on the Team List search result to launch the Team List View Screen.

3. Steps to create a Team
Creating a new team in iVendNext involves the following steps:
3.1. Log in to iVendNext:
Access your iVendNext account using your credentials.
3.2. Navigate to the Team List View Screen:
Go to: Home > Retail. Under the Store Operations section click on the Teams shortcut. Alternatively you can navigate to Home. Click on the Awesome Bar and then type the keyword - “Team List”. Click on the Team List search result to launch the Team List View Screen.
3.3. Create a New Team:
Click on the "Add Team" button to launch the New Team Creation Screen.
3.4. Enter Team Details:
Fill in the necessary details such as the team name, description, and any other relevant information.
3.5. Add Team Members:
Assign team members by selecting users from the list. You can also set their roles and permissions within the team. You must specify at least 2 users in the Users Template to form a Team.
3.6. Specify the Role for the Team Members:
Click the Add Roles button. This will take you to the User Profile settings screen. Navigate to the Roles and Permissions Tab. Specify the role for the Team Members on the Roles and Permissions page.
If you do not specify a Role Profile on the Role and Permissions screen, the application will throw a warning message and will ask you to define one.
3.6. Save the Team:
Once all the details are filled in, click on the "Save" button to create the team. This will create a New Team and can be seen listed on the Team List View screen.

The various fields on the New Team Creation screen are explained below:
Code
Specify a Team Code.
Description
Specify a Team Description. This is usually the name of the Team.
Store
Select a Store from the drop down list. In case you don’t find your store listed, you can create one by clicking on the Create a New Warehouse option. This Store by default will be mapped to the Team that you are going to create.
POS Shift Profile
Select a POS Shift Profile from the drop down list. In case you don’t find your POS Profile listed, you can create one by clicking on the Create a New POS Profile option. This POS Profile by default will be mapped to the Team that you are going to create. POS Shift Profile in iVendNext stores all the settings pertaining to your Till Setup.
User Details
Use the User Details Template to configure and manage all the settings pertaining to the user. You will have to click on the Add Row button displayed below the User Details Template to add a new blank row. Click on the Pencil symbol under the Gear icon to open the Editing Row screen. On the Editing Row screen you can specify the required information.
User
Select the Username from the drop down list. In case you don’t find your User listed, you can create one by clicking on the Create a New User option.
