Setting up a beauty store

Check the fit

Put your own list of requirements against the apps in Beauty and cosmetics on iVendNext. What the till, the shop and the apps meet unchanged is ready. The rest is set-up or an extension.

Set up the shop

Set up stores, tills and users as you would for any retailer. Then connect your ERP: SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA, Acumatica, NetSuite or Sage X3, or any other ERP your partner connects with the partner kit. Your ERP's master data loads first. Set up items and lots

Add your products and barcodes, the products sold by lot with their expiry dates, the pick order, the return days for each product, and the products that cannot come back.

Set up members and plans

Make a customer group for each loyalty plan, with a promotion for its member discount. Then add your plans and the plan a new customer joins.

Set up prices and offers

Add price lists by store or customer group, the season's promotions, your coupons and your markdown steps.

Install the apps

Install the apps your stores need, each with its own guide: a loyalty app (Customer-owned loyalty or iVendNext Loyalty), Customer code check, Coupon rules, Expiry markdown, and your web shop (see Connections).

Train your staff and go live

Go live store by store: advisors and cashiers on the till, stock clerks on receiving lots, and managers on approvals and reports.
