Fixing Fiscal Year Error
While you create an entry, iVendNext checks that dates like Posting Date and Transaction Date fall in an enabled Fiscal Year for your company. If not, iVendNext shows a message like:
"Date 31-12-2026 is not in any active Fiscal Year for Your Company"
You are more likely to see this message when a year has ended and the new Fiscal Year does not exist yet, or when the Fiscal Year that covers the date is disabled. iVendNext picks the Fiscal Year from the date of the entry, so you do not need to set a default.
iVendNext also creates the next Fiscal Year for you. A daily job makes it three days before the current Fiscal Year ends, with the same settings.
Create New Fiscal Year
Only Users with System Manager's Role Assigned have permission to create a new Fiscal Year. To create new Fiscal Year, open the Fiscal Year list and click on Add Fiscal Year.

Check that the Fiscal Year is enabled
Open the Fiscal Year list. A year that is disabled is not used for new entries. To use it again, open it and remove the tick from the Disabled check box.
If the Fiscal Year has companies listed in its Companies table, it applies only to those companies. Add your company to the table, or clear the table so the year applies to every company.
Then create the entry again. The Fiscal Year that covers the date is used.
