Every app and rule

Retail Extensions · checked 2026-10-18

This table lists everything in the App library, with its kind. An App is a complete app with records your team works in, or a screen of its own. A Rule is one check, field or layout added to a screen you already use. The first page of this section, About Retail Extensions, says how to tell them apart.

An app marked coming has no guide page yet. Its card in the App library already says what it does and how to set it up.

Name Kind Category What it does Its page
Price change approvals App Approvals A price change is requested, approved by someone other than the person who asked, then set on the price list by the Applier and marked Applied. Guide
Price change approvals across stores App Approvals Price changes per store: once each manager is given their store, they approve that store's requests; head office sees and approves them all. Guide
UAE tax invoice receipt Rule Compliance The till's receipt laid out as a UAE tax invoice, in English beside Arabic: your tax registration number, each line's VAT rate and the taxable value at each rate. Guide
Customer-owned loyalty App Customers Your own loyalty program, with your own tiers and cash-back rules: members, plans and cash back kept in iVendNext, and a member's status on the till. Guide
Gift card on spend App Customers A sale over your threshold earns the customer your own gift card, spendable after a hold (24 hours by default). One card per sale, or one for each full threshold. Cancelled or returned sales void unused cards. The card is not on that sale's receipt. Guide
Price-deviation audit App Reports After each sale is booked, every line charged below its price-list rate by more than your threshold is recorded for the store manager to review in Desk. Guide
Click and collect App Selling A Desk board for the web orders a store must pick and hand over: the web orders still to pick, and on each delivery note who collected it. Nothing leaves your shop. Guide
Coupon rules Rule Selling Rules for your own coupons, checked at Pay: a coupon for a customer's first purchase only, or only for customers in one group. The cashier sees why a coupon is refused, removes it and pays. A coupon with no rule passes while the app's setup is right. Guide
Members-only check before payment Rule Selling When the cashier presses Pay, the till refuses a sale with a members-only item for a customer who is not a member, and asks for ID on a sale at or above your limit. Guide
Price-checker kiosk App Selling A tablet on your shop floor where a customer scans an item and sees its name, picture and price from your store's price list. Promotions are worked out at the till. No sign-in on the tablet; switch a kiosk off in Desk. Guide
Till field rules Rule Selling Your own words and fields on the till, with no code: Product for the item name, Stars for points, no email field, a phone required. The rules are rows of a till theme you save as IVENDNEXT FLD Till. Guide
Till guard rules Rule Selling Checks at the till, in one app: no line at a placeholder price such as 0.01, a most per line, the cashier or a manager for a large sale, and a question when a flagged item is scanned. Each rule is off until you set it. Guide
Warranty terms Rule Selling Each item's warranty term in months, kept in the shop, for a till key or service you connect; an item's own term wins over its item group's. Guide
Bin locations App Stock Where stock sits inside a store: locations, aisles, bins and what is in each bin, kept in Desk as notes. A till key, Where is it?, tells the cashier which bin holds each item. It does not move stock. Guide
Pick route App Stock A button on a submitted sales order, Assign pick route, creates a pick task for the picker you choose, listed under the order. Guide
Unit codes at the scan Rule Stock Scan a unit's own code to sell that unit with its batch; a unit marked Sold is refused (marking it Sold is the shop's step, or a connected service's). Guide
