Troubleshooting & Support
Because Foresight is delivered as a cloud service, there is no infrastructure for customers or partners to manage. Most issues are functional (data or configuration) and can be resolved on screen. Anything beyond that is handled by iVendNext support.
13.1 Functional issues you can resolve on screen
| Symptom | Likely cause | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| Wrong currency symbol on a financial forecast | Account or company currency not set | Set the account currency (preferred) or the company default currency |
| Sales forecasts not appearing | Items not flagged for forecasting | Flag the items, then regenerate |
| Sales forecasts not appearing | All predictions below the confidence threshold | Lower the threshold, or wait for more history |
| Auto-PO not firing | Missing preferred supplier, zero suggested quantity, or a PO raised in the last 7 days | Check all three on the forecast |
| Auto-SO creating unwanted orders | Confidence threshold too low | Raise the threshold; keep auto-SO off until forecasts are trusted |
| A report shows "sample data" | No real rows match the filters | Relax the filters; confirm forecasts have been generated |
| A forecast won't save (bounds error) | Upper/lower bounds reversed | Correct the bounds (a built-in fix can swap them) |
13.2 When to contact iVendNext support
Forecasts not refreshing on schedule despite correct settings.
The Sync Log repeatedly shows failures.
Performance concerns on very large catalogues.
Any request to load historical data or change the forecasting cadence at the platform level.
Provide support with the company, the affected screen or report, the date and time, and a description. Support has full visibility of the Sync Log and service health.
