Cross-questions, answered

The questions you will hear in the room, with answers grounded in how Copilot actually works.

Can it see salaries, or data my staff should not see?

No. Copilot can only access what the signed-in user is already permitted to access. HR lookups default to a person's own record, and bank and sensitive personal fields are never returned. Passwords and security tokens are always stripped.

What stops it from changing something by mistake?

Every create, update, and submit produces a draft and waits for the user's explicit confirmation. Advanced data queries are read-only and reject any attempt to change data. Administrators can also restrict exactly which fields and record types Copilot may write.

How do I know what it did?

Every action is written to an audit log: who, what, when, the inputs and outputs, the outcome, and which fields were accessed or blocked. Administrators can review it at any time.

Are the numbers actually correct?

They come from the same live data and the same logic as your iVendNext reports. Margin, turnover, inventory days, and outstanding balances each use a documented formula, and you can show the customer that formula. Analytics count submitted transactions only.

Will my team need training?

Very little. The interface is a chat box and a set of ready-made prompts grouped by area. Most people are productive in their first session because they ask in their own words.

What about manipulation, can someone trick it?

A defence layer detects attempts to make Copilot ignore its rules or reveal its configuration, and records them. More importantly, the permission layer enforces the real limits regardless of what anyone types, so a clever prompt cannot grant access the user does not have.

What does it cost to run?

Copilot is delivered as part of your iVendNext service, so there is nothing to deploy or maintain. Per-user rate limits keep usage predictable, and each conversation's consumption is tracked for visibility.

Does it work across multiple companies?

Yes. You choose the company at the top of the panel, and every answer is scoped to it. Switch companies to switch context.
