10.1 Scheduled forecasting

Foresight refreshes forecasts automatically on the frequency set in Foresight Settings (hourly, daily, or weekly), retrains its sales models on the configured cadence, and updates accuracy as actual sales come in. All of this runs in the iVendNext cloud, with nothing for the customer to operate.

10.2 Auto-PO readiness checklist

Before enabling auto-create PO:

1. Confirm the preferred supplier is set on the item.

2. Confirm the item's lead time is realistic.

3. Pilot on a narrow scope (for example, Fast Moving items in one warehouse).

4. Run in draft-only mode for two weeks (this is the default).

5. Compare the drafts to manually-created POs with the stock team.

6. Tune, and then expand the scope.

10.3 Auto-SO readiness checklist

Before enabling auto-create Sales Order:

1. Keep the confidence threshold at 85 % or higher.

2. Generate sales forecasts first and validate them.

3. Review the Sales Dashboard for at least 30 days.

4. Pilot on one customer or one item group.

5. Always pair it with credit-limit checks.
