Setting up a fashion store

Fashion · checked 2026-10-24

This guide takes a fashion store from the first conversation to a live store. An iVendNext partner in your region usually runs these steps with you. A team with its own developers can run them itself. iVendNext gives the product, the apps and a guide at every step.

Check the fit

Put your own list of requirements against the apps in Fashion on iVendNext. What the till, the shop and the apps meet unchanged is ready. The rest is set-up or an extension.

Set up the shop

Set up stores, tills and users as you would for any retailer. Then connect your ERP: SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA, Acumatica, NetSuite or Sage X3, or any other your partner connects with the partner kit. Your ERP's master data loads first. For Acumatica and WooCommerce, see the Integration Core guide.

Set up styles, sizes and colors

Add your attributes (size, color, fit, fabric), each style with its variants and barcodes, and the return days for each product. From Acumatica, items arrive with their size and color grids.

Set up prices and offers

Add price lists by store or customer group, the season's promotions and your coupons.

Install the apps

Install the apps your stores need, each with its own guide: Click and collect, a loyalty app (iVendNext Loyalty or Customer-owned loyalty), Coupon rules and Bin locations.

Connect your web shop

Connect WooCommerce, map the warehouses the shop shows and the stores customers collect from, then load the catalog. See Connections.

Train your staff and go live

Go live store by store: cashiers and floor staff on the till, stock clerks on the handheld, and managers on approvals and reports.

Day to day

Your partner supports what it delivers. iVendNext supports the product. The daily work at the till is in iVendNext POS, starting with Starting your day.
