How a request becomes an answer

You do not need to know this to use Copilot. It helps consultants explain why answers are accurate, fast, and safe.

  1. You ask

Your message goes to Copilot along with the company you are working in and, where relevant, the page you are on.

  1. Copilot checks the request

Your usage is rate-checked, and the message is screened for manipulation attempts before anything runs.

  1. It understands your business

Copilot reads a fresh snapshot of your company: top customers, best-selling items, recent invoices, overdue amounts, low-stock items, and the current date and time. This context makes answers specific to you, not generic.

  1. It chooses the right action

Copilot selects from a library of business tools, for example "summarise revenue" or "create a quotation," and runs them in order. A single question can chain several steps.

  1. Every step is governed

Before each action runs, Copilot confirms you are allowed to perform it, removes any sensitive or disallowed fields, and records the action in the audit trail.

  1. It replies as it works

The answer streams back into the panel so you see progress immediately rather than waiting for a blank screen.
