Retail Enhancements

Five additions to the Retail module, available to all existing Retail customers.

Quotation, Sales Order, and Delivery from Another Store

Cashiers can now park a transaction as a Quotation, convert it to a Sales Order with advance payment collection, and fulfill it as a Delivery from any store with available stock. The full lifecycle from quotation through delivery is tracked at the POS, with stock reserved at the source store and the order remaining open until all items are fulfilled.

Coupon Issue Functionality

Promotions can now issue serialized coupons automatically when they are applied. Each issued coupon is recorded in a central coupon ledger with full transaction and store context, enabling per-store redemption tracking, conversion measurement, and real-time reporting.

Barcode Masking

POS scans can now extract item code, price, quantity, and serial or batch from a single embedded barcode using configurable mask definitions. Fixed-length and delimiter-based masks are supported. The system falls back silently to standard barcode resolution if no mask matches, and audit flags identify which invoice lines used masked scans.

Sales Person Assignment

Sales persons can now be assigned to POS transactions through auto-assignment, manual search, or barcode scan. Commission splits across multiple sales persons are supported in Total mode (summing to 100%) or Each mode (independent percentages). Commission rules can be overridden by item group, store, date range, or sales-person group, with tiered brackets for escalating commission on rising sales.

Face Detection Login

Cashiers can now sign in to the POS by looking at the camera. Liveness detection confirms a real user is present, server-side face matching validates identity, and a standard session opens with no password required. The feature complements existing biometric and password sign-in options.
